The mass should be stunning

Our main priority is to showcase the beauty of the Mass—where Heaven touches earth. We are filming actual Masses as they happen, but also ‘dry Masses’ that allow us to capture never-before-seen details of the Mass.

EYE OPENING INVESTIGATION INTO THE ‘CONSILIUM’

The ‘Consilum’ was the committee that implemented the changes to the liturgy after Vatican II. You will be shocked to realize the changes that took place that were never mentioned by the Second Vatican Council. You will discover a priest named Annibale Bugnini who was the architect of it all.

a faithful catholic critique

Our documentary investigates the pastoral changes to the prayers and form of the Mass. Since the implementation of Vatican II had to do with pastoral changes to Catholic customs, faithful Catholics can critique the actions of the Consilum and Pope Paul VI and yet still revere the Second Vatican Council.

An Invitation to the Latin Mass

Certainly, there are holy Catholics who go to either form of the Mass. But we believe the Traditional Latin Mass—the Mass of the Ages—the Mass of the Saints—is a solid foundation for faith in a time when the world is in chaos.

frequently asked questions

+ When will MASS OF THE AGES be released?

MASS OF THE AGES will be a trilogy of films! We have so much content that we want to share, so we will be releasing three films this year, and the first will come on August 15th, the Feast of the Assumption.

+ Didn't Vatican II create a new Mass?

This is a common misconception. Vatican II wrote the guidelines for how the new Mass was to be created in a document called 'Sacrosanctum Concilium.' Then a commission called 'the Consilum' created the new Mass.

+ Is this film attacking Vatican II?

No. This documentary explores what happened after Vatican II to show how the creation of the new Mass went far beyond the text of Vatican II. We are critical of those who pushed through their own radical agenda to destroy the silence, mystery, and transcendence of the Mass.

+ Are you saying the Traditional Latin Mass is better?

We don't believe that going to TLM automatically makes you a better Catholic. Both forms of the Mass are valid and approved by the Church.

But we believe that the TLM is a better setting for the mystery taking place. The same diamond in different settings will have different effects. Some rings will allow the light to shine through more clearly. We believe the Catholic faith is more clearly expressed in a Traditional Latin Mass.

MASS OF THE AGES explores the unique details of the TLM and what makes those details essential for forming the faith of Catholics around the world.

+ Isn't every parish struggling today? What makes Traditional Latin Mass parishes more effective?

A recent survey of Catholics showed that only 25% of 20-year-olds attend weekly at Novus Ordo parishes. Yet at Traditional Parishes that number rises to 98%.

Is this only because those raised with the Traditional Latin Mass tend to go more often? Actually, 90% of those who were surveyed were NOT even raised in TLM families in the first place.

We know that statstics like this can be misleading, so don't take our word for it. Watch the MASS OF THE AGES to make up your own mind.
